Job Title: Key Account Management Lead
Location: Taipei, Taiwan
About the role:
As the Key Account Management Lead at Takeda, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by optimizing our portfolio for hospital access and driving strategic initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead cross-functional efforts, establish long-term partnerships, and build a top-tier KAM team in Taiwan.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:Spearhead the design and implementation of strategic account plans, ensuring seamless execution and success at individual accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Develop an engagement platform across Business Units (MKT, MR, DMs, NSM, medical) to facilitate agile decision-making and achieve company objectives.
Pricing and Access Strategy:Lead pricing and access strategies for prioritized accounts, securing cross-functional alignment during price negotiation decision meetings.
Partnership Building:Forge enduring relationships with key stakeholders, including Procurement, Pharmacists, and hospital management teams, to bolster Takeda’s market presence.
Team Development:Cultivate a robust talent pipeline and enhance the capabilities of the Takeda KAM team, positioning it as a leader in Taiwan’s pharmaceutical industry.
What you bring to Takeda:
Educational Background:BS/MS in Business, Science, or Pharmacy. A medical-related academic background is a plus.
Experience:8-10 years in account strategy development, with at least 2 years in key account management. A minimum of 3 years in people management, preferably within an MNC.
Proven Track Record:Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with high-value stakeholders.
Skills:Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.
Leadership Qualities:A self-starter with high personal motivation, results-oriented, and a team player with the ability to work effectively across functions.
