Job Description
For our great Rare Disease team, we would like to welcome a new colleague in the role as a field-based Medical Advisor. This role is based in Sweden, you will primarily be responsible for our portfolio in Immunology, working closely together with our medical-, and cross functional teams in Oncology and other therapeutic areas under our Rare Disease umbrella.
Your Mission: Dive into hands-on work with a newly initiated Swedish registry study, while driving the medical agenda in the therapeutic areas assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
HCP Engagement, Data Dissemination, and Real-World Evidence (RWE):
Scientific Exchange: As Takeda’s ambassador, build and maintain professional relationships, engaging in meaningful scientific and medical dialogues with HCPs, patient advocacy groups, and other external stakeholders to expand Takeda’s research, advisory, and educational opportunities.
Insight Collection: Seek, organize, and share scientific insights on key strategic questions, gaps, and projects.
Stakeholder Interaction: Organize and execute interactions with key stakeholders to uncover their needs.
Medical Activities: Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities (e.g., Advisory Boards).
RWE Plans: Co-create and drive RWE plans in collaboration with our Evidence Generation department.
Literature Review: Continuously screen, review, and analyze scientific literature; generate summaries and critical assessments as appropriate.
Healthcare Systems: Identify and communicate operational understanding of healthcare systems across functions, including changes in the healthcare landscape.
Medical Education: Participate in the development and implementation of key medical activities (e.g., medical education and peer-to-peer training activities).
Field-Based Expertise: Use specific disease and product knowledge to support Takeda’s product portfolio and act as a field-based medical expert on drug and disease for Takeda.
Medical Projects, Value-Based Partnerships, and Internal Activities:
Project Identification: Proactively identify and drive actions/projects to strengthen Takeda and our Core Team to maximize medical performance.
Continuous Learning: Maintain a mindset of continuous learning, stay updated on advancements in research, and attend relevant conferences and educational forums to enhance expertise and knowledge in the field.
Team Training: Provide therapeutic training for the cross-functional team, contributing to excellent team performance.
Industry Engagement: Broaden our engagement in LIF, where the medical perspective brings true value in driving projects and raise awareness on specific topics from a pharma industry perspective.
Qualifications, Key Skills, Capabilities, and Competencies:
Scientific Graduate with a higher qualification (PharmD, PhD, MSc or equivalent)
Experience in immunology is preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an MSL or similar role in the pharma industry or consultancy.
Proven scientific skills and track record of effective and influential presentations.
Valid driving license.
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Swedish.
Availability to work in a hybrid setting, partly field-based in Sweden.
