Job Description
Tender & Document Specialist
Position Purpose
The Tender & Document Specialist is required to manage tender submissions, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain accurate documentation.
Business through tenders is a major revenue source across all Business Units which is only expected to grow in the MRP period. An experienced and optimal sized tender team is critical for Takeda India Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage government, institutional, and corporate tenders.
- Prepare and submit tender proposals on time with accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain) together required inputs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Maintain tender tracker and documentation records.
Compliance & Documentation
- Conduct all activities in strict compliance with applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and Takeda’s internal policies.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of tenders and rate quotations
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or related field (MBA preferred).
- 6–8 years of experience in tendering or documentation in pharma.
- Knowledge of government procurement systems, GeM and Railways Portal.
- Strong organizational, communication, and MS Office skills.
Core Competencies
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with government procurement portals (GeM, State Tenders).
• Excellent behavioural, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document management tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadline
