Based in our UK Head Offices inPaddington,Central London, with some flexibility around remote work,(there is a minimum requirement of 8 days in the office per month). For our 2026Industrial Placement Program starting in July 2026, we have1internshipavailablein Regulatory Affairs.

WithinRegulatory Affairs you will have the opportunity to:
Gain experience in a broad range of regulatory activities, whilst providing technical and administrative support to the Regulatory Affairs team.
Learn about thedevelopmentlifecycle for medicinal products, from application to approval and work across all therapy areas in the Takeda portfolio.
In collaboration with an expert team, you will be involved in the maintenance of existing and newmedicinalmarketingauthorisationsfor products in the UK and Ireland.
Takeresponsibility for your own projects, in support of Takeda’s commercial activities and strategies.
Support with the preparation, compilation,submissionand approval of a wide range of regulatory applications for a variety of products licensed via thehealth authorities.
Learn about the regulatory environmentin the EU and the UK, and industrychallenges post-Brexit.Helpusshape thefutureoperating model forRegulatoryAffairsat Takeda.
Interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including the regulatory authorities in the UK and Ireland.
Participate in industry group meetings with otherpharmaceuticalcompanies.
Take an active role in our early careers community IGNITE and other Takeda Reference groups aligned to our Diversity,Equityand Inclusion values
Whatwe’relooking for
You are currentlyenrolledinanundergraduatedegree andarelooking to complete a 12-month placementas part of your ongoing studies, returning to your course at the end of the placement.Ourrole would suit a candidate whois currently enrolled in a scientific/STEMdegree, whothrivesonworking in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working as a teamplayerand who is interested in developing a career inthe pharmaceutical industry.

To identify candidates, you may go through the following stages, depending on the results of each stage you may be invited to further stages: CV & Cover Letter screening, Online Aptitude Testing, Video interview with Talent Team, Online Personality Questionnaire and finally a face-to-face or virtual assessmentcentre.During the assessmentcentre,candidates will have the opportunity to meet withacurrent intern. AssessmentCentresare expected tobe held inJanuary-February 2026and successful candidates will start in July 2026.
