Job Description

Role Purpose

The Business Operations Specialist supports the Oncology Business Unit by strengthening sales effectiveness, insights & analytics, digital execution, and operational excellence. The role acts as a key interface between Business Operations & DD&T and the Oncology division, enabling data-driven decision-making, efficient processes, and high-quality execution across commercial and medical operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sales, performance, and operational analytics to support Oncology business decisions.

  • Support digital customer engagement execution in alignment with Oncology strategy.

  • Identify process inefficiencies and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead or contribute to automation, AI, and process excellence projects.

  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and adherence to operational standards.

  • Support events, congresses, and vendor coordination for the Oncology BU.

  • Work proactively with Commercial, Medical, PVA, and DD&T teams to improve efficiency and customer experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field.

  • Experience in business operations, analytics, sales operations, or commercial excellence (pharma preferred).

  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.

  • Experience with business analytics, reporting tools, and data management.

  • Exposure to automation tools, AI use cases, or process improvement methodologies is a plus.

  • Strong collaboration, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Processes are simplified, standardized, and increasingly automated.
