Job Title: Lead Business Analyst, Performance Managements & Insights
Location: Lexington, MA
About the role:
As a Lead Business Analyst, Performance Management and Insights, You will develop data strategies to improve how we measure the business, strategy, and operational performance of the Global Manufacturing & Supply organization. You will perform complex data research and analysis to support business operations. You will create data mining architectures, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large datasets. By applying knowledge of existing and latest data science principles, inform business decisions and contributes to Takeda's mission. You will report to the Head, Performance Management & Insights.
How you will contribute:
Develop Performance Management Data Strategies for the Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) organization for measuring business, strategy, and operational performance across 30 manufacturing sites and functions across the globe.
Develop and implement new data mining architectures, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to conduct complex data research and analysis to support multiple departments.
Lead strategic data management programs and create an aligned approach with data domain experts.
Provide strategic insights through advanced data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
Apply modern data analytic techniques and predictive modeling to surface insights that enhance organizational performance and efficiency.
Centralize and standardize business performance metric data models, collaborating with senior leaders across functions to create a One Stop Shop for Business Performance Data.
Use business intelligence tools (i.e. Power BI, Qlik) to transform data into visualized insights that inspire decisions by the GMS Leadership Team.
Bridge the gap between business performance needs and technical solutions.
Evaluate current and past performance data, identifying trends, patterns, and outliers to support informed predictions about future outcomes.
What you bring to Takeda:
10+ years experience with 5+ years as a Business Analyst, with a focus on data modeling, analytics, visualization. Experience in Biopharma would be ideal.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics/Science, or a related field.
Advanced skills in data visualization, familiar with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Qlik, and Tableau.
Navigate SQL, and other database technologies for data retrieval and visualization purposes.
Proficient in predictive modeling, recognized for developing strategic approaches and mentoring team members.
Experience with statistical analysis, able to conduct complex studies and training others.
Expert in project management, guiding major projects and setting standards for project execution.
Proficiency in data modeling concepts; experience with SQL, Python, DAX, M and modern analytics techniques would be ideal.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and other clean room garments daily. This may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full body gowns, hair nets and gloves and hearing protection.
Need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
Work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
Work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.

$149,100.00 - $234,300.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
