Job Description
Team is five people in the Manufacturing Systems Business Owner team supporting Manufacturing at Massachusetts Biologics Operations (MA Bio Ops) in Lexington, MA. We support manufacturing systems such as PAS-X MES and NYMI Platform for manufacturing operations. This includes support for multiple projects as well as base business operations.
How You Will Contribute:
The Manufacturing Systems Intern will support activities with the digital transformation of the site manufacturing from paper to electronic batch records. Our Intern will have an opportunity to be involved in multiple projects and operational activities, including:
- Learn about the MES System and attending relevant trainings.
- Participate in the 400SW Upstream operations MES project including workshops, document reviews and more.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Data, Digital and Technology (DD&T), Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, and other groups relating to manufacturing systems.
- Get involved in Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities relating to MES such as demonstrations, internal events, newsletter articles, and more.
Internship Development Opportunities:
- Observe and learn about biologics manufacturing operations.
- Gain detailed knowledge of manufacturing systems.

Job Requirements:
- This position is hybrid position located in Lexington, MA
- Must be pursuing an Associate’s, Bachelor's, or Master’s degree
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Internship Eligibility
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
- Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2025 or later
- The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (June 2nd- August 22nd) or (June 16th - August 29th)
- The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
- Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates
- Takeda does not provide a housing stipend or relocation support for the U.S Summer Internship Program

$21.00 - $46.00
The estimated hourly range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered will depend on the candidate’s school year/level to be entered following completion of internship.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. internship benefits vary by location and may include:
Paid sick time

Commuter Benefit: To offset your work-commute expenses, Takeda provides U.S. employees with a fixed monthly subsidy to be used for either public transportation (transit) or parking.
