Job Description
About the role:
Join us as our new Warehouse Lead and take charge of a high-impact role at the heart of our global supply chain. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future of warehouse operations in a cutting-edge biopharma environment.
How you will contribute:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Head and managing a team of 7 direct reports you will be in charge of supervising all warehouse activities both in terms of operation and system dimensions. You will:
Oversee and inspire a team of 30+ professionals across logistics, inventory, procurement, technical support, and digital transformation.
Optimize warehouse operations using advanced systems (SAP/JDE), automation tools (AGVs, drones), and performance metrics.
Lead strategic projects including the launch of a new purification line and the integration of smart logistics infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and quality standards while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
What you bring to Takeda:
Degree in Logistics, Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or quality within a GMP-regulated biopharma environment.
Proven leadership in managing diverse teams and complex projects.
Strong command of ERP/WMS systems and digital tools.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
A mindset focused on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.

Important Considerations:
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to create quality products, and we aim to create a safe environment for our team members. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product or putting anyone at the site in harm's way. In this role, you may:
·Work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
·Need to remove all make-up, jewellery, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
·Work in a cold, hot environment and load manual handling.
·Work multiple shifts, including weekends, or be asked to work supplemental hours, as necessary.
·Work around chemicals and biologicals products that may require specific protection (respiratory, skin, etc.).
