Job Description
Job Title: Senior Robotic Engineer
Location: Lessines, Belgium
About the role:
The Robotics Process Engineer is integrated in the Process Engineering structure.
He or She is responsible for an efficient implementation and a maintenance of high-quality engineering systems and manufacturing equipment.
He or She is a major actor of continuous improvement on site (Using DMAIC methodology).
He or She is responsible to perform analysis of in place equipment and provide a 10-year plan to assure the site development and the business continuity.
The core purpose of this function is delivering:
Projects:
In scope of CAPEX programs and continuous improvement of new/existing systems, the incumbent must be able to be a technical leader in Large projects.
In particular, the position implies:
- Basic Design and support for project spending forecast.
- Detailed Design of new or in place systems.
- Tenders writing, orders handling, following of construction, and start-up of equipment.
- Write and support the execution of validation packages (URS/FSDS/Commissioning…)
- Train employees impacted by changes and new equipment for the Hand Over.
- Manage contractors to support the project implementation
Major actor in Continuous improvement:
- Be on the floor to understand and analyze problematic.
- Recommend efficient improvement to minimize production down time and increase quality.
- Use problem-solving skills (DMAIC).
- Provide a support to build a 10 years plan to assure the site master plan.
Investigations and quality support:
- Support site activities as a technical expert to facilitate investigations.
- Support and challenge technical aspect for quality issues.
Daily activities:
- Perform troubleshooting to support the routine in case of maintenance and reliability requests.
- Active participation and back up to support and drive daily operational meetings.
- Provide exepertise to contractors for equipment issues.
- Provide expertise to generate process flow and templates to facilitate implementations
How you will contribute:
Deploy Takeda EHS culture by applying security rules and giving regular positive and constructive feedback on initiatives that insure/improve the safety of the employees on the work floor.
Assure the efficiency of his or her actions during daily manufacturing support to success the production plan and assure the good documentation of actions done.
Manage the coordination of engineering activities on the floor. (Medium and High complexity).
Manage that the technical documentation under his (or her) responsibility (Protocols / Drawings / technical data sheets…) is up to date and available for each employee of TAKEDA Lessines.
Assure a leadership attitude inside a multidisciplinary team. (Act as a technical leader).
Provide direct reporting: “Ready to decide”.
Participate to benchmark and innovative ideas, design concepts into the existing process.
Assure strict compliance with cGMP, 21 CFRs, GAMP5, Corporate, Divisional and regulatory requirements
Assist in the development of operational, maintenance and user requirements to ensure TAKEDA’s requirements are integrated into the design requirements to meet project and business needs.
What you bring to Takeda:
Education / experience:
- Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanics, Automation, Electrics: (Or bachelor’s degree+ Exp.)
- Comfortable with the technology evolution for automation systems.
- At Least 5 years as a Robotic Engineer
Core Competencies / Skills / Leadership Behaviors:
- Good communication skills and the ability to lead and perform effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Must have the ability to effectively participate to Engineering projects, coordinate contractors, and drive results.
- Has the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Develop his (or her) understandings of business drivers and customer needs.
- Experience with Quality Systems and Processes in a GMP regulated and FDA licensed manufacturing site.
- Must have good experience in project management, preparing project budgets and timelines
- Must be comfortable with MS OFFICE Pack (Especially WORD, POWRPOINT, EXCEL).
- Must be sensitive to Data Integrity aspects.
