Our team of Management Assistants is evolving towards broader, process-oriented support. Due to a team member moving on to new opportunities, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our Management Assistant team with a focus on Procurement & Vendor Management— from coordinating the vendor onboarding process to collaborating with various Business Units and international colleagues within Takeda Business Support.

At Takeda Netherlands, the Management Assistant team plays a key role in supporting the organization. In this position, you’ll take ownership of the Procurement & Vendor Management process area, acting as a connector between departments, suppliers and international colleagues. At the same time, you’ll be part of a team that safeguards and strengthens organization-wide processes such as Contract Management, Activity Management and Business Unit Support. These processes are a vital part of our operations and directly impact compliance, quality and continuity. Together, we ensure a well-organized, welcoming and efficient working environment, where colleagues can focus on their core tasks and where processes run smoothly, professionally and with attention to detail.

What you’ll do

  • Take ownership of organizing, executing and improving the Procurement & Vendor Management process.

  • Manage MSA contracts, SOWs and Service Agreements, including documentation and follow-up.

  • Keep preferred vendor lists up to date and perform Due Diligence within the correct categories.

  • Handle and monitor purchase orders, including coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

  • Advise colleagues on supplier usage, procurement procedures and compliance guidelines.

  • Collaborate with Finance to monitor spending and manage budgets.

  • Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to process optimization.

  • Provide general support to colleagues at Takeda Netherlands, including reception and facility-related tasks.

  • Actively contribute to a welcoming, efficient and well-organized work environment.

  • Work closely with fellow Management Assistants, aligning across process boundaries and building a future-focused way of working together.

What you bring

  • MBO/HBO level of education, preferably in Office Management, Business Administration or Communication.

  • Experience with procurement processes, contract management or vendor coordination.

  • Affinity with digital systems such as SAP Ariba.

  • Strong command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience in a regulated or pharmaceutical environment is a plus.

  • You work independently, in a structured way, and with a strong sense of responsibility.

  • You learn quickly and adapt easily to change.

  • You have an open mindset and spot opportunities to make processes smarter and more future-proof.

  • You think at an organizational level and understand the bigger picture.

  • You enjoy working collaboratively and actively align with colleagues across and beyond the team.

  • You’re curious about digital possibilities and enjoy working with new technologies like AI.
