Role Objective

Are you ready to build new partnerships and drive impact for patients in the Netherlands? Join Takeda as a Key Account Manager, where you will spearhead our efforts in product positioning, adoption and advocacy in the Neurology, Allergy, and Immunology space. You will engage with key hospital stakeholders, identify customer needs, and drive solutions that deliver value to both patients and Takeda. Be the trusted face of Takeda—building our reputation, delivering business objectives, and coordinating cross-functional strategies to maintain excellence in customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement account plans to strengthen long-term, trusted partnerships with key stakeholders.

  • Drive product differentiation and deliver therapeutic knowledge to support patient care.

  • Apply VB KAM principles to analyze market and account trends, identifying priority accounts and stakeholders.

  • Lead innovative regional tactics and projects in close collaboration with customers.

  • Act as the main point of contact for your accounts, coordinating with Medical, Access, and internal teams for optimal customer experience.

  • Drive operational effectiveness through agile working methods and ensure timely execution of tactical plans.

  • Engage and influence key opinion leaders (KOLs) in neurology, allergy, and immunology.

  • Track performance, communicate KPIs, and systematically report via CRM tools (SMILE).

  • Collaborate closely with internal functions (Medical, Market Access, Brand, etc.) to ensure resources and market insights are shared and acted on efficiently.

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in life sciences).

  • Experience in the hospital market and engaging with KOLs in rare diseases, especially neurology or immunology/allergy.

  • Strong track record in product positioning and differentiation across treatment pathways.

  • Expert knowledge of hospital DMUs, strong communication and influencing skills with decision-makers.

  • Experience working in cross-functional, agile teams.

  • Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
