Job Description
BioLife plasma centers are part of the Takeda biopharmaceutical company. Our business is the collection and freezing of blood plasma from donors in Hungary for the production of pharmaceuticals.
We’re looking for a full time Operations Group Manager for the plasmapheresis center in Hungary – Budapest KÖKI, Kecskemét, Szeged centers
In this challenging position, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of 50 nurses and physicians located in 3 plasma centers (Budapest KÖKI, Kecskemét, Szeged).
At the same time, you will act as Center Manager for one of the centers (Budapest KÖKI center).
Your tasks in detail:
As the Center Manager of KÖKI, you will have the following administrative tasks, but not limited to
Monitoring and management of technical tasks in the plasma center
Active administrative support for marketing processes (local organization, implementation and analysis of marketing campaigns)
Active administrative support of HR processes (performance appraisal, employee experience survey support, interviewing, management of personnel files)
Administrative support for monthly closing processes (financial, HR, operational) – reporting
Archiving related tasks
Management of purchase requisitions in SAP
Petty cash and voucher management
Monthly KPI monitoring, reporting
Comprehensive knowledge and use of the Plasma Collection process and associated process management system (software)
Complaints management
Active use of software supporting the quality system
Participate in the yearly GMP related fixed assets maintenance
Logistical organization tasks
Dangerous waste management
Liaison with other departments
Delegation of processes according to competencies
As the Group Manager, you will have the following tasks, but not limited to
Organizational and administrative management of 3 plasma centers in cooperation with the Lead Physician(s) and the Quality Management Representative
Leading a team of 50 nurses and physicians – support, develop, motivate, provide regular training
Motivating and developing employees to grow their abilities (providing clear objectives, conducting regular performance conversations, etc.)
Ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with internal, national and international regulations to guarantee product quality
Preparation, implementation as well as ensuring compliance of budget and investment planning
Assembling and securing personnel, spatial and technical conditions for the proper execution of requirements placed on the area
Implementation and active participation in regular Management Meetings
Developing a continuous improvement mindset in your plasma centers as well as initiation and coordination of improvement projects
Official representative of your plasma centers to external partners, e.g. local organizations, media and inspections/audits
Defining and implementing an expedient center strategy
Skills you need:
Completed university degree and/or training in business administration or corresponding professional experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in leading larger teams, ideally in a corporate environment
Empathic, proactive and flexible leader with a passion for working with people from various backgrounds
Profound knowledge of financial procedures in an operational environment
Fluent skills and IT user knowledge
Ability to quickly understand and simplify complex correlations
Ability to build trust and make decisions even with incomplete information
Willingness to travel (Szeged-Kecskemét)
