The Opportunity

As a SAP GTS Consultant you will deliver SAP change requests or minor/small enhancements within your functional area, focusing on SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS), Legal control for Control substances or narcotics, Intrastat, Direct filing with brokers, Sanction party list, Custom declaration or bonded warehouse. You will collaborate with other workstreams, including ABAP Development, BTP Development, Commercial, Quality, Finance, and Warehouse, when necessary. If skills and capacity allow, take over delivery of change request also from other ICC Logistics sub-workstreams like Distribution & Logistics or Intercompany.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ICC SAP Logistics/GTS team on delivery or ICC lead projects under supervision of Senior consultant or if independent enough, act as individual contributor.
• Coordinate with business process leads/owners (BPL/BPO) to prioritize requirements, actively reduce the backlog of open change requests through consistent delivery, and monitor the status and progress during regular status meetings. Lead and manage status calls within your functional domain.
• Deliver the planned scope within the agreed timeline, meeting required quality standards and adhering to the delivery methodology outlined by ICC leadership/ERP Platform.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of change requests in design or technical files, effectively track progress using required IT tools, and prevent rework due to returned documents from approvers/reviewers.
• Promptly identify and report risks and issues to BPL/BPO, ICC SAP Logistics Team-BOTT Coordinator, or ERP Platform, while proactively developing and implementing mitigation plans to overcome blockers.
• Collaborate with the ICC SAP Logistics Team-BOTT Coordinator and ERP Platform Distribution & Logistics Team to deliver change requests, ensuring proposed solutions align with implementation strategies and SAP templates.
• Foster an integrated approach to design, build, deployment, and operations for your product line by understanding, managing, and communicating dependencies in a timely manner.
• Stay informed about functionalities implemented by ICC SAP teams or ERP Platform teams to maintain the independence and efficiency of your work. Ensure continues learning of SAP based solutions and stay up to speed with new releases.
• Ensure Oversight of ICC lead projects (managed by FLEX)

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Previous working experience as consultant from other big global IT companies.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of practical experience as consultant in SAP GTS focusing especially on Legal control for Control substances or narcotics, Intrastat, Direct filing with brokers, Sanction party list, Custom declaration or bonded warehouse.
• Decent understanding of SAP Sales/Billing, SAP Logistics or SAP Inventory management and their integration with other SAP modules - especially SAP GTS, SAP eWM/TM.
• Experience with S/4 HANA implementation project is great advantage.
• Historic track at least from 1+ full SAP Life-cycle Implementations (ECC, S/4 HANA).
• Ability to drive solution design workshops, propose options, explain pros and cons to stakeholders and then suggest proper implementation plan with subsequent delivery of all identified deliverables.
• Ability to work in different time zones, for certain period of time (especially during design workshops and testing / training cycles), if required.
• Fluent in English and good communication skills.

Nice to have skills and experience:

• Consulting experience (as designer or tester) in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) or SAP MM (Material management).
• Supply chain logistics related working experience from pharmaceutical industry is great advantage.
• Experience with SDLC methodology, including tasks like develop test cases, execute test plans, log defects, develop functional design specifications including workflow, validation, and logic requirements. Ensure designs can be traced back to requirements.

Salary

As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3050 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
