Job Summary:
The Senior Data Modeler is responsible for delivering high-quality data modeling and architecture solutions across the organization. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models that meet the organization’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models using best practices and data modeling tools.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Ensure consistency and integration of data models across various business applications.
• Assess and improve existing data models for performance and scalability.
• Implement data governance and data quality standards.
• Provide expertise and guidance to fellow data modelers and developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in data modeling, database design, and data architecture.
• Proficiency in data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.
• Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with SQL and database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies (Databricks, Spark, Informatica) and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding the Data Quality, Data Marketplace, Data Product concepts.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and data governance frameworks.
