OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

As the Global Platform Manager for the Content MLR Platform (Veeva Vault PromoMats) within the Content Innovation team, you will own and manage Takeda’s global Veeva Vault PromoMats environments. You will be responsible for the design, development, enablement, enhancement, optimization, and ongoing support of Takeda’s Content MLR platform within a highly regulated environment.

In this role, you will partner closely with internal business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable platform capabilities, working in close collaboration with internal and external platform development teams. You will oversee day-to-day platform operations, govern enhancements and configuration changes, and ensure alignment across adjacent Content Innovation platforms and integrations.

Overall, you will drive Takeda’s Data and Digital mission by enabling the adoption and evolution of Veeva Vault PromoMats capabilities that align with business needs, best practices, and enterprise architecture principles.

• Drive innovation and continuous improvement of Veeva Vault PromoMats capabilities by introducing new platform features, tools, and system integrations in line with business demand, prioritized use cases, and Takeda’s Content Vision.

• Enable stakeholders (both within and outside of Takeda) to effectively consume Takeda’s global Content MLR capabilities.

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of Veeva Vault PromoMats environments, ensuring platform stability, reliability, security, and compliance.

• Socialize changes to existing and new capabilities, tools, components, and consumption models to drive adoption, alignment, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Own and prioritize the global backlog for Veeva Vault PromoMats product enhancements and operational needs, and manage a DevOps Platform POD within the delivery center to deliver against the prioritized backlog.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to understand business strategy and design solutions aligned to business needs.

• Develop and own the Veeva Vault PromoMats platform and environment capabilities roadmap, driven by business demand and aligned to Takeda’s Content Innovation strategic imperatives.

• Own and deliver roadmap initiatives in partnership with internal and external stakeholders through agile delivery teams.

• Drive alignment of proposed solutions with enterprise standards, as well as Takeda architectural, security, privacy, and quality requirements.

• Lead the business case development process by designing and documenting proposed solutions in alignment with business demand.

• Provide technical and functional support for Content MLR capabilities enabled through Veeva Vault PromoMats.

• Partner with DD&T and business stakeholders to enable and enhance the consumption of Takeda’s global Content MLR capabilities.

• Develop scalable services and platform operational and governance processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations in partnership with IT, business, and other key stakeholders.

• Act as the SME for all Content MLR / Veeva Vault PromoMats projects and capabilities, providing architectural guidance and insight into industry trends in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

• Establish and institutionalize regular end-to-end KPI reviews to monitor solution adoption and drive continuous solution improvement.

• Manage licensing and user access and permissions structures across Veeva Vault PromoMats environments.

OTHERDIMENSIONSANDASPECTS

• Deep knowledge of Veeva Vault PromoMats and related Veeva products.

• Strong knowledge of Digital Asset Management platforms, content authoring solutions, and content distribution systems (e.g., Aprimo, Shaman, Salesforce CRM / Marketing Cloud) strongly preferred.

• Strong business acumen across the end-to-end content lifecycle, with a focus on the Life Sciences.

• Proficient in defining and documenting clear, structured business requirements during discussions with stakeholders.

• Ability to clearly communicate complex topics and foster alignment across all levels of the organization.

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build strong cross-functional relationships.

• Strong ability to build and maintain external partnerships with industry partners and suppliers.

• Ability to generate breakthrough solutions and enable others to do the same.

• Accountable for day-to-day decisions related to the design, development, and implementation of innovative content solutions across Takeda globally.

• Ability to present issues and recommended solutions succinctly to Global, Senior, and Executive Management on a regular basis.

• Recommend and monitor project budget spend in line with approved plans and priorities.

EDUCATION,BEHAVIOURALCOMPETENCIESANDSKILLS:

Essential

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Digital Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 12+ years of experience with Veeva Vault, including enterprise-scale implementation and operation of Veeva Vault PromoMats solutions in a regulated environment.

• Veeva Vault Platform certification.

• Deep, hands-on experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats.

• Strong understanding of enterprise end-to-end content lifecycle processes, from creation through review, approval, and activation.

• Strong “soft skills” and English communication skills, with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups.

• Experience working with global teams in international, multi-country, and multi-cultural environments.

• Proven experience in internal and external team and stakeholder management.

• Experience working in the Life Sciences industry strongly preferred.

• Experience working in an agile delivery environment strongly preferred.

• GenAI knowledge or practical experience recommended.
