Job Description

Role Purpose / Summary

Lead the strategy, delivery and value realization of Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) for Takeda Serbia+. Act as the primary DD&T partner to the Country General Manager and LOC Leadership Team, ensuring business priorities are enabled by DD&T, global/regional initiatives are successfully localized and adopted, and DD&T capabilities and culture are elevated across the LOC.

Key responsibilities

  • DD&T Strategy & Value Realization

    • Co-create and execute the Serbia DD&T strategy and value creation roadmap with Strategy and Operations Lead and regional DD&T leadership.

    • Translate business priorities into a focused DD&T portfolio, ensuring clear outcomes, KPIs and measurable business and patient impact.

    • Drive the DD&T agenda in business reviews, advising where to invest and scale DD&T solutions.

  • Program & Portfolio Leadership

    • Lead planning and execution of key DD&T initiatives (e.g., CRM and omnichannel, data platforms/analytics, automation, “customer experience of the future” programs).

    • Define scope, milestones and success metrics; establish governance, track progress, manage risks and issues, and adjust plans based on insight and feedback.

    • Optimize budget and resource allocation for DD&T activities, leveraging GPD DD&T CoEs, Global DD&T/ICC and external partners.

  • Cross-functional & Cross-level Collaboration

    • Serve as the primary interface between Serbia LOC and GPD DD&T CoEs, Global DD&T and regional stakeholders, ensuring local needs are understood and prioritized.

    • Partner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Ethics & Compliance, Finance and other functions to co-design and implement DD&T solutions.

    • Contribute to and benefit from regional DD&T communities, sharing Serbia best practices and importing learnings from other LOCs.

  • Change Management & Capability Building

    • Lead change management for DD&T initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training and adoption support.

    • Build data and digital literacy across the LOC; embed DD&T into daily ways of working for field teams and office-based functions.

    • Simplify complex DD&T topics for senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams; promote test-and-learn and continuous improvement.

  • Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure DD&T solutions and data usage comply with local regulations and Takeda policies, including ethics, privacy and transfer-of-value requirements.

    • Proactively identify and manage risks associated with DD&T initiatives; coordinate with Ethics & Compliance, Legal and Medical when needed.

    • Support the design and operation of unified collaboration and governance frameworks between LOC, region and GPD DD&T.

Education

  • Master’s degree (preferred degree, but not mandatory: Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences or related field).

Experience

  • Significant experience in business and/or technology roles, ideally within pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences.

  • Hands-on experience with DD&T portfolio and program management, including CRM, omnichannel engagement, data management/analytics and automation.

  • Experience delivering digital products and services using agile methodologies with mixed internal and external teams.

  • Experience working with or within local operating companies (LOCs) in CEE or similar markets is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of business strategy and the pharma value chain (commercial, medical, access).

  • Deep knowledge of digital innovation and DD&T opportunities across patients, HCPs and other stakeholders.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; capable of influencing at LOC, regional and global levels.

  • Strong communication skills; able to simplify complexity and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.

  • High analytical and problem-solving capability; data-driven decision-maker.

  • Familiarity with agile, design thinking and modern digital operating models.
