About the role:

In this highly responsible role, your core focus is to enable the continuous improvement of business processes and digital transformation of E2E supply chain processes at Takeda's largest manufacturing site - Vienna. We are looking to you holding the map for the Supply Chain Organization’s continuous improvement journey and inspire your co-workers to jump on board of this journey. Within Takeda locally and globally, the resources, possibilities and plans for digital innovation are many and your position will be the main engine for taking the Supply Chain Organization to the next level. How you will contribute:

  • Ownership of E2E improvement Projects: As a Business Analyst in Supply Chain, you will drive improvement initiatives to ensure Supply Chain planning process efficiency and support application of common best practice approaches following DMAIC procedure to increase standardization and creation of transparency. You will lead a cross-functional community of practice consisting of improvement ambassadors across the Supply Chain organization to facilitate the idea management process within Supply Chain. Additionally, you support AOS (Agile Operating Standard) projects to help lift the Supply Chain Organization to the required maturity level.

  • Hands-on Involvement and Responsibility: You will be involved in various focus topics across the entire process landscape of Supply Chain including domains such as Planning (Production, Packaging, Supply), Purchasing, Master Data Management and Inventory Management. You will be the main point of contact within the Supply Chain Organization for business process management. This also includes being engaged in local/global IT system projects/rollouts. Within implementation projects, you will guide Supply Chain SMEs in regards of requirements engineering and be responsible for accurate implementation and use of E2E Supply Chain IT systems including their interfaces. To put it short: you will build the bridge between IT and business.

  • Continuous Improvement: Analyzing and continuously enhancing the E2E Supply Chain business processes to simplify tasks and meet our value creation targets especially through digital/automated solutions (e.g., RPA, DDM and Databricks, MS-Power Automate, MS-Power App, etc.) will be one of your focus areas. Creating transparency about potential improvements, standardizing documentation, and contributing to sustainable process stability are aspects you enjoy and identify with.

  • Global and Local Collaboration: You will engage and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders, both locally and globally, such as manufacturing, quality assurance, finance, material change management, artwork management, supply planning, production planning, and more. On top of that, you will connect with colleagues and leaders to enable understanding of the "why" and the "art of the possible" behind digital transformation, thereby fostering a digital culture that embraces, adopts, and utilizes change with a positive impact.

What you bring to Takeda:

Your contribution to the Supply Chain Organization will be essential and with the following skills and references you will be well equipped for your new challenge within our team:

  • Educational/Professional Background: You have a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management with numerous IT modules, Business Informatics or significant professional experience in the manufacturing industry (e.g., automotive/additive manufacturing, pharma industry), information technology/IT consulting. A strong network in innovative digital technologies (e.g., innovators in industry & academia) is an advantage.

  • Project/Change Management: Proven expertise in enabling, executing, leading continuous improvement or digital transformation projects with cross-functional stakeholders is something you bring to the table. You are aware of the need for and assure proper change management in the scope of improvement projects. You excel at translating business requirements into technical specifications that software development teams can implement. Certification in agile project management (SCRUM) is an advantage.

  • System/application knowledge: You are experienced in working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, and/or Oracle JD Edwards), MS-Office 365 suite (Excel, Power Platform), you have profound experience with (SAP) system implementations at best in the production area, as well as proven expertise with the use of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, QLIK Sense, SAP Business Object).

  • Affinity to work with data: Working with large sets of data (data warehousing) and focusing on database management, information systems and data analysis by applying Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, QLIK Sense, SAP Business Object) are domains you enjoy. Experience with Dimensional Data Modelling (DDM), Databricks, programming skills (SQL, Python, Java) are an advantage.

  • Life-long-learning/Creativity: You have a mindset which is eager to continuously learn new things and come up with creative solutions. You are aware of digital trends and love to share those within the Supply Chain Team. You’ll be part of a team that values experimentation, innovation, and the freedom to explore new technologies.

  • Strong communication skills: Proactive communication and assertiveness on a local and global level are part of your tool kit. Due to your high level of emotional intelligence, excellent teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills, you can communicate complex ideas/processes in an easy-to-understand way to non-technical stakeholders, anticipate potential objections and persuade others to adopt different points of views.

  • Personality: Your resilience when working under pressure and your ability to prioritize appropriately help you achieve your goals. A competitive remuneration package with a minimum salary of € 4.270,14 gross per month (full-time, collective wage agreement for the chemical industry) - the actual salary depends on your professional experience and qualifications.
