Job Description
About the role:
The Patient Services, Manager is responsible for overseeing patient support programs, ensuring patients receive the necessary care and resources to adhere to their treatment plans. This role focuses on enhancing patient satisfaction and therapy adherence through effective communication, strategic planning, and team leadership. This is a fixed term contract position (12 - 14 months).
How you will contribute:
- Develop and implement patient support programs to enhance therapy adherence and patient satisfaction
- Manage financial resources and assistance programs to ensure patients can afford necessary treatments
- Lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
- Analyze program data to identify trends and make informed decisions to improve patient services
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and therapy benefits
- Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare providers
- Resolve conflicts and patient complaints with tact and professionalism
Skills and qualifications:
- Employs empathy and effective communication skills to understand and address patient needs.

- Demonstrates empathy in interactions with patients, ensuring a supportive and caring environment.
- Plans and executes strategic initiatives to meet long-term patient service goals.
- Resolves conflicts and patient complaints with tact and professionalism.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical/life sciences and/or Patient Services experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in business or Scientific education (Biology, Chemistry or Nursing)
- English/French bilingualism an asset
- Experience with implementing digital customer and patient solutions an asset
As an experienced professional, you specialize in solving various complex problems, sometimes referring to established precedents and policies. Your work involves analyzing diverse data and selecting appropriate methods for solutions, while networking with senior professionals in your field. You possess a complete understanding of principles, concepts, and industry practices, exerting some influence on organizational objectives. You often work independently under general direction, occasionally leading small project teams, and may represent the organization in contractual or project matters, interacting with senior internal and external personnel. You might also participate in training junior staff.
