A dynamic and visionary individual is sought to join our organization as a highly engaged member of the Commercial Operations and Business Solutions Organization. As a key team member in the Sales Operations and Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in driving and navigating transformative initiatives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement,, and growth. The ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and your COBS teammates, combined with, and an enterprise mindset, will be paramount to success in this role. A desire to achieve organizational objectives is important. You will be tasked with ensuring that all field operations are executed with high efficiency, quality, and in alignment with the company's standards and strategic objectives. You will serve as a key business partner to one or more franchises within the USBU. You will lead projects for field force sizing, alignments, deployment, targeting, call planning, and field reporting for one or more franchises. In addition, the role will serve as a thought partner, subject matter expert, and connector between the franchise and the Sales Operations & Solutions organization.

How you will contribute:

  • Be an expert on field facing data, tools, and reports for one or more franchises.

  • Represent Sales Operations & Solutions functions at a high level with assigned franchise and help provide connectivity into the Sales Operations and Solutions organization and services.

  • Provide holistic solution-oriented recommendations to address business stakeholder alignment, call planning, and field reporting questions and challenges.

  • Partner across Commercial Operations, Franchises and DD&T to implement standardization, process improvements, and opportunities for automation.

  • As part of a team, develop and manage field force alignments and resource requirements.

  • Work closely with Sales, HR and DD&T teams in planning, communicating, and executing various projects.

  • Manages changes to territory alignments in territory alignment software and in CRM software.

  • Integrates targeting data through 3rd party vendors to create and evaluate territories based on potential and workload balancing.

  • Works with Sales and Marketing to determine reporting requirements. Leads requirements gathering, gains alignment on business rules, and implements accordingly.

  • Directs analysis and process changes needed to improve and maintain quality and accuracy of the data.

  • Manages the infrastructure for the generation and distribution of weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.

  • Proactively identifies opportunities or issues through analysis of the data.

  • Fulfills ad hoc reporting requests from stakeholders with an ability to identify what requests should be automated.

  • Manages and directs field communications regarding sales reporting and support.

  • Investigate and resolve issues or liaise with subject matter experts to determine resolution.

  • Oversee and manage the territory alignment process. This includes zip code alignments, field territory hierarchy, account alignments, and supporting sales force sizing and optimization scenarios.

  • Ensure processes are documented and comply with SOPs and other applicable guidance.

  • Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and resources for field operations.

  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Serve as subject matter expert to cross functional teams.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS/BA degree with MS/MBA preferred. 

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical, immunology, biologic/biotech, or medical device industry, with sales operations, analytics, market research or related field. 

  • Strong analytical capabilities and familiarity with the tenants of brand strategy; understanding of IT issues and interdependencies is desired. 

  • Advanced project planning, project management, and vendor management skills. 

  • Previous experience communicating with and influencing leaders and key stakeholders. 

  • Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change as well as delivering on programs with complex business deliverables. 

  • Ability to set priorities for themselves and their matrixed team, deliver on deadlines and develop workflow processes and tasks in an evolving, dynamic marketplace.   

  • Strong analytical skills and budget management experience. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills necessary to lead through change and influence without authority.  

  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and critical thinking, as well as problem solving skills. 

  • Track record of successful leadership, management, and development of small project teams. 

  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry desired.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$137,000.00 - $215,270.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
