About The Role

The Global Talent Acquisition Business Excellence Lead, Director level, is an insights-driven leader who will equip the Global Talent Acquisition (TA) Leadership Team with the analysis, modeling, and recommendations needed to make informed strategic decisions that drive the organization forward. Reporting to the Head of Global Talent Acquisition Enablement & Employer Branding, this role provides the data, scenarios, and visualizations leaders rely on to shape a high-performing, industry-leading global TA function for Takeda.

This position is currently classified as “ hybrid” in accordance with Takeda’s Hybrid and Remote Work policy. This hybrid role requires a minimum of five (5) in-office days per month at our Lexington, MA office.

How You Will Contribute

Insight Generation & Strategic Enablement

  • Build advanced data and scenario models—including internal vs. external recruiter ratios—to guide TA leadership’s strategic decisions.

  • Deliver clear insights and visualizations that help leaders understand risks, opportunities, ROI, and the impact of proposed changes.

  • Translate complex data into recommendations aligned with TA’s strategic objectives.

Frameworks, Analytics & Measurement Systems

  • Design measurement frameworks that evaluate TA productivity, funnel performance, hiring velocity, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.

  • Partner closely with the People Analytics team to develop dashboards and reporting tools—while leading the design to ensure metrics align with how TA success should be evaluated.

  • Provide actionable insights that highlight patterns, forecast hiring needs, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.

AI, Automation & Technology Assessment

  • Evaluate AI and automation opportunities that enhance sourcing, screening, workflow efficiency, and customer experience.

  • Build business cases and readiness assessments that guide leaders in determining where and when to deploy new technologies.

  • Collaborate with HR Tech and Data Science to ensure ethical, compliant, and scalable AI adoption.

Operational Excellence Advisory

  • Analyze TA workflows, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

  • Provide recommendations on process efficiencies, automation use cases, and global delivery consistency.

  • Establish benchmarks and best-practice frameworks that enable more reliable, data-driven operations.

Agency & Vendor Governance

  • Develop and manage frameworks for agency and vendor governance, ensuring effective performance and cost alignment.

  • Monitor usage, performance data, and ROI to recommend vendor optimization.

  • Provide analysis on how external partners—such as agency or RPO-like models—affect TA capacity and budget.

Budget Modeling & Resource Forecasting

  • Lead TA budget monitoring and build models that show cost implications under different resourcing or technology scenarios.

  • Provide recommendations that help leaders allocate resources effectively across teams, vendors, and technology.

Program Support & Change Visualization

  • Provide program insights, analytics, and modeling that enable leaders to design effective enterprise TA initiatives.

  • Create visual scenarios, narratives, and summaries that help leaders understand potential outcomes of proposed changes.

  • Support communication efforts by distilling analytics into clear, executive-ready materials.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years' experience in Talent Acquisition, People Analytics, HR Operations, consulting, or related fields.

  • Expertise in data modeling, scenario planning, and building analytics tools that support strategic decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of AI and automation solutions.

  • Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and visualization skills; able to translate data into decision-ready insights.

  • Consulting or strategy enablement experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Data/Analytics, HR, or related field preferred.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$174,500.00 - $274,230.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
