Job Description
As an IT/OT Infrastructure Architecture Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our manufacturing shop-floor IT/OT environment. Based in Lessines, you will support day-to-day operations while helping translate enterprise architecture standards into robust, compliant local solutions. This role is key to maintaining continuity of production systems and enabling our digitalization and operational excellence strategy.
How you will contribute
Provide advanced technical support for shop-floor and end-user systems (PCs, servers, networks, Windows, O365, ERP/MES integrations, peripherals).
Troubleshoot and resolve complex incidents in collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and site subject-matter experts.
Partner with enterprise and solution architects to implement global architecture standards and target designs at site level, providing operational feedback to improve them.
Lead or contribute to small and medium IT/OT projects and continuous-improvement initiatives (stability, performance, lifecycle, patching, network segmentation).
Plan for, respond to, and recover from service outages, ensuring minimal impact to manufacturing operations.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, knowledge articles, and configuration data.
Coach junior colleagues and promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and operational discipline.
Ensure compliance with GxP, data integrity, cybersecurity, and EHS requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
What you bring to Takeda
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (IT, Industrial, Manufacturing, Automation, or related field)
Solid hands-on experience in IT/OT or infrastructure support within a manufacturing or similarly critical environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, endpoint hardware, and basic networking (DHCP, DNS, VLANs).
- Experience with Active Directory, endpoint management, backup solution issue-tracking tools, and shop-floor user support.
PowerShell or automation exposure, ITIL knowledge, basic security/network tooling, and experience with validated (GxP) systems.
Experience working with or following enterprise architecture standards and governance
Clear communicator with strong documentation discipline, a learning mindset, and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Proven ability to analyze complex problems, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and deliver sustainable solutions.
Fluent English, French a plus
