About the role:

As a Technical Lead in the Calibration Management System (CMS) space within the Plasma-Derived Therapies (PDT) business unit, you will lead strategic planning, design, and implementation of CMS architectures that support the business objectives. Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation and operational excellence including day to day delivery. You will establish and enforce best practices, lead the delivery of scalable and secure IT Service Management solutions, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop architectures and ensure that the execution aligns with critical project/business objectives. You will also be instrumental in fostering a culture of technical and engineering proficiency, mentoring a team of software developers and data engineers.

Collaborating closely with business stakeholders and global leadership, you will ensure that the team’s efforts enhance business capabilities and drive forward the strategic goals of PDT as well as Takeda. Your leadership will be key in advancing the technology landscape to support the evolving needs of the global marketplace.

This position will align to Cloud & Custom Development chapter of the ICC and report to the PDT Delivery Lead.

How you will contribute:

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them through complex technical challenges and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards
  • Lead the architectural design and strategy for Nuvolo implementations on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions
  • Design and oversee the integration of Nuvolo with other enterprise systems, leveraging ServiceNow’s capabilities to create seamless and efficient workflows across various platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and other IT teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in ServiceNow and Nuvolo technologies, and proactively introduce innovative solutions and improvements to enhance the overall functionality and performance of the platform

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a similar field required. Master's degree in a similar field would be a plus
  • 8-10 years’ experience with Nuvolo/ServiceNow across Nuvolo GXP Lab asset management. ServiceNow scripting experience using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
  • Experience delivering architectural documentation and implementation
  • Experience of working with Data Migration and ERP/IWMS/EAM Implementation engagements
  • Expert knowledge of SQL, Relational Databases
  • Proven experience managing Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and Testers
  • Exposure to Agile application implementation methodology
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about complex issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages and the ability to manage and propose proper technology choices to determine what technology and methods can be combined for the optimal result in an ever-changing product landscape

Preferred requirements:

  • Proven ability to drive digital transformation initiatives that have resulted in significant business impact
  • Experience in regulated industries, particularly in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
  • Good understanding in service portals and hands-on experience in Widget, Instance, and Pages
  • Experience with mobile development, Ajax, Jelly, Glide, and jQuery
  • Integration experience with Web Services, Middleware Solutions such as TIBCO, J2EE, J2ME, JSP, Servlets, Java Scripts, JDBC, AJAX, XML, SQL Server 2008R/2012, Oracle 9i/10g/11g, MS-Access, My SQL, EDI, XSLT, .Net or other integration technologies
