About the Job
As the ERP Transformation Lead for GMS Finance, you will oversee the full lifecycle of Takeda’s ERP implementation across global manufacturing sites, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals. You'll serve as the central coordination point between Finance, IT, and external partners, guiding the change through clear governance and structured risk management. This high-impact role supports innovation, operational efficiency, and the adoption of digital finance capabilities.
How You Contribute
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive project plans to guide the ERP transformation across GMS Finance.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, and System Integrators to align system functionality with business needs.
Define and track key performance metrics and reporting to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and inform executive decisions.
Manage resource allocation to ensure availability of critical skills and capacity throughout the transformation.
Drive finance process redesign for improved efficiency, alignment with best practices, and system compatibility.
Anticipate and mitigate risks through robust planning, issue tracking, and contingency frameworks.
Design and implement change management initiatives including training programs and communication strategies.
Ensure Manufacturing Finance requirements are fully captured in the ERP system design and deployment.
Provide structured communication to the GMS FLT and key stakeholders on project status and major developments.
Lead the resolution of complex project issues and maintain continuity during phases of high ambiguity or change.
What You Bring to Takeda
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA and CPA preferred).
Proven experience leading large, global ERP projects (SAP or JDE preferred) within manufacturing and finance environments.
Deep understanding of financial processes in manufacturing: cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and inventory control.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and associated tools.
Strong business process optimization skills with ability to align systems with operational strategy.
Skilled in change management and stakeholder engagement across global and matrixed organizations.
High-level communication and interpersonal abilities; adept at building consensus in complex environments.
Analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive decisions and report performance.
Demonstrated success influencing across functions and geographies; culturally agile.
