Job Description
Job Title: Global Operational Excellence eAGILE Academy Lead
Location: CH Zurich HQ or Boston
OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
To lead the development and implementation of training strategies and programs supporting the eAGILE program and various squads. This role ensures the effective training and capability building of Operational Excellence (OE) competencies, manages knowledge platforms to drive broad adoption across Takeda, and promotes clear and efficient communication within the OE community (including GMS/GQ sites globally). The role also defines and executes communication strategies to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
The eAGILE Academy Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the eAGILE program by driving effective training, capability building, and communication strategies essential for fostering a culture of continuous improvement within Takeda.
SCOPE
Operating outside of any CI squad, this role supports the entire eAGILE program. It collaborates closely with Global Operational Excellence (GOE) teams, Business Processes of the Future, and Factory of the Future, Performance & Portfolio Management teams, providing strategic leadership in capability building, training and learning initiatives, and communication strategies.
Training Strategies and Facilitation (25%)
- Develops training strategies, outlines learning objectives, and facilitates training sessions in collaboration with Global Operational Excellence (GOE) teams.
Trainer Collaboration and Coaching (10%)
- Collaborates and coaches trainers to effectively deliver AOS, Six Sigma, Design Sprints, Lab of the Future and BPO skills training
- Perform coaching of selected advanced individuals (Black Belt, Master Black Belt, AOS Master) globally and on sites
Capability Building and Knowledge Platforms (15%)
- Owns capability building and knowledge platforms for AOS, ensuring promotion for broad adoption, including Six Sigma, Design Sprints, Lab of the Future and BPO.
Content Management (10%)
- Manages content for GOE infrastructure across various platforms, ensuring up-to-date and relevant information.
Training Organization and Coordination (10%)
- Organizes and coordinates the operations of GOE academies, ensuring seamless delivery and logistics of training programs (including AOS, Problem Solving (6-sigma), Lab of the Future, BpoF, FoF)
Effectiveness Measurement (10%)
- Measures the effectiveness of capability building initiatives and takes corrective actions where necessary.
Liaison with Capability Building Networks (10%)
- Acts as a liaison with GMS/GQ capability building and learning networks to adopt best-in-class capability building methods.
Change Management and Communication Plan Execution (5%)
- Defines, plans, and executes change management (e3+) and communication strategies for the OE community and key stakeholders.
Engagement Dashboards and Capacity Management (10%)
- Maintains GOE engagement dashboards and team capacity management tools to ensure effective resource utilization.
Internal Communication Facilitation (5%)
Facilitates effective communication within the GOE team to ensure alignment and collaboration.

- Excellent working knowledge and SME on AGILE Operating systems and its application in a GxP environment

- Responsible for fostering innovation in training methods and capability building initiatives, adopting best practices from the learning network.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential:
- MS degree in a technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years experience in the bio-pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing and / or quality/technical services role.
- Strong project management skills
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative.
- Ability to drive change, influence, and motivate others.
- Collaborative team player with a professional attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent project and program management skills with a strong capability-building mindset.
- Proven competencies in communication and change management.
- Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Document Management Systems (DMS).
- Demonstrated teaching and coaching skills. Excellent understanding of business operations and financial management principles
- AOS Master Certification and Black Belt Certification.
Desired:
- Master Black Belt certification
- Extensive Lean transformation experience
- PhD in a Technical discipline
