How you will contribute:

Project Outline

You will be working in our international, friendly Device Sciences team / Global Manufacturing Sciences

• You will be assigned to support a workstream of a major project dealing with development and manufacturing of combination products and drug delivery devices

• Using your theoretical and/or practical knowledge of mechanical or biomedical engineering you will help analyze/investigate/create reports on device development and manufacturing

• The planned output of the internship will be to gain general knowledge on development and manufacturing of combination products and drug delivery devices

• The earliest start date for the internship will be June 2025 with an anticipated length of 3 months

What you bring to Takeda:

• Curiosity and collaboration skills will ensure you effectively handle your project and make a valuable impact

• Active enrollment at a university or a university of applied sciences or a recent graduate (within the last 12 months) in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering

• Using appropriate communication, you will provide updates and reports on your activities, essential for steering your work and integrating into the team

• Must be authorized to work in Switzerland without the need for additional immigration sponsorship, housing allowance or relocation requirements.

• Experience with data analysis tools (MATLAB, Python)

• Proficiency with simulation software such as ANSYS or ABAQUS
