R0146947 Quality Control Instrumentation Lead Analyst
for a full-time fixed-term (18-month) position at our location in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland.
As a QC Instrumentation Lead Analyst, you'll leverage your expertise in Good Manufacturing Practice and current FDA & EMEA regulations to oversee and enhance our quality control processes. Your deep understanding of manufacturing, packaging, and validation activities will drive our commitment to excellence. We seek a dedicated professional with strong analytical and technical skills to lead our quality efforts and ensure our products meet the highest standards for human use.
Your tasks in detail:
- Uphold Good Laboratory and Manufacturing Practices, ensuring a clean, safe, and organized lab environment.
- Validate, operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments, acting as the go-to expert for troubleshooting.
- Develop and update SOPs, specifications, and training materials; mentor and train QC Analysts.
- Investigate lab non-conformances and instrument issues; lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage calibration schedules and ensure timely maintenance of equipment, assisting with installations and relocations.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for calibration services, reviewing their reports and records.
- Support customer audits, regulatory inspections, and internal/external audits of the Calibration Program.
- Drive digital innovation and data analytics for efficient calibration and maintenance scheduling.
- Foster a culture of safety and teamwork, completing all required training and assessments on time.
- Engage in cross-functional training and promote corporate values, adapting to changing priorities and tasks.
Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an analytical lab within the pharmaceutical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of metrology theory and practical experience with QC instrumentation.
- Technical expertise in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and Wet Chemical Analysis.
- Advanced understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Self-starter with strong motivation, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills.
- Capable of fostering a supportive and inclusive team atmosphere to promote teamwork.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks.
