JOB LOCATION: Cambridge, MA

POSITION: Enterprise Solution Architect

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Development Center Americas, Inc. is seeking a Enterprise Solution Architect with the following duties: Oversee the Product Engineering team and sub-teams, managing resources and recruitment; Drive the success of Process Automation initiatives and coordinate efforts across technical leaders and product teams; Influence and determine the strategic technical direction for engineering initiatives and product development; Select technologies and platforms that align with business needs and enterprise architecture; Define technical approaches for product development and deploy complex systems; Utilize bi-modal methodologies for roadmap development and ensure compliance with architectural standards; Collaborate with Product Managers and technical leads to optimize implementations and facilitate cross-domain capabilities; Lead teams through complex problem-solving and adapt to agile environments; Stay updated on modern technologies and integrate new engineering practices and platforms; Guide the engineering process from feedback to effective implementation; Analyze and define business processes, managing BPM solution migrations and deployments. Up to 50% remote work allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus 15 years of related experience.  Prior experience must include: Architect automation solutions with a strategic enterprise mindset, designing scalable and adaptable architectures across a variety of platforms like Pega, UiPath, Appian and Power Platform or equivalent with a broad and adaptable technical skill set; Serve as a thought leader and technical expert, bringing insights on emerging RPA, BPM, and AI trends while guiding the team in leveraging best practices; Lead the design , development and maintenance/ enhancement of solutions while mitigating and managing issues/ risks with emphasis on performance/ cost optimization; Lead initiatives for process automation, including conducting Proof of Concepts and addressing escalated production issues, while overseeing solution development and code review; Oversee automation program activities along with creation of governance frameworks and best practices to ensure solutions are of high quality; Lead new process automation initiatives by delivering Proof of Concepts & Proof of Value using BPM, RPA, and AI capabilities; Conceptualize cross-functional business processes leveraging process mapping techniques like value stream mapping; Architect, deliver and support hybrid solutions that integrate with other enterprise platforms, systems, and solutions.

Full time. $174,500 - $299,200 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
