Job Title: Associate Product Manager (Solid Tumor)

Location: TWN - Taipei

About the role:

The Associate Product Manager position must contribute to cross-functional team work to achieve excellent results of responsible brand and must deliver these results with a deep understanding of patient unmet medical needs, customer insights and market understanding.

This individual should develop and implement best-in-class marketing strategy to ensure Takeda’s leadership in the therapeutic area by disease awareness promotion, target patient segmentation, patients’ access to treatment improvement.

The individual should lead, direct and control all marketing programs and activities to meet the organization’s short and long-term business objectives, comply with regulations and standards on product planning; campaigns; marketing communications and promotions, as well as, monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends, consumer/customer behaviors and competitor activity to identify market opportunities; adjust marketing strategy and plans to meet changing environments and competitive conditions. Also, this individual should be able to lead small project teams to demonstrate smooth cross-functional collaborations and embed the spirit of Takeda-ism.

Special focus should be given to strengthen the product positing and ongoing life-cycle management.

How you will contribute:

Demonstrate strategic planning and tactical execution capability

  • Lead, design, and facilitate brand strategy/planning process for the product.

  • Develop sales forecast based on Critical Success Factors and Brand Objectives. Utilize specific, relevant metrics to measure brand performance against both the sales results, as well as non-financial KPIs such as brand preference and customer perception and patient access.

  • Plan, administer, and manage commercial budget and resource allocation based on priority and necessary trade-off for overall performance of the brand.

  • Execute, evaluate and adjust rolling tactical marketing plans including both traditional and e-marketing activities.

  • Analyze customer insights, healthcare environment, market trend, brand equity, pricing, reimbursement, and clinical profile of the product and relative competition to be used for strategic development and dissemination for commercial execution.

Strong alliance and networking capability

  • Manage customer relationships with Key Opinion Leader (KOL), top national influencers/prescribers, as well as payers, and other key stakeholders for the product.

  • Exhibit cross-functional teamwork to ensure alignment with key stakeholders in Taiwan brand team (Sales, Medical, Market Access, Business Operations, Finance and Regulatory).

  • Demonstrate good collaboration between area/region/global product team.

Company business policy & compliance

  • Fully understand industry and company policy & code of conduct

  • Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with regulatory environment with the goal of maximizing product opportunity.

What you bring to Takeda:

Education

  • Business or medical degree with university graduate or above.

  • Pharmacy background is a plus.

Working Experience

  • Familiar with the oncology product business model and Taiwan Health Care system.

  • At least 2 years of working experience in Oncology.

  • Experience in marketing, market access or medical roles is a plus.

  • Has project experience with epidemiology/patient journey/sales forecast is highly desirable.

  • Experience in developing and executing sustainable business strategic plans.
