External Manufacturing Logistics Coordination Manager (f/m/d)

In this exciting role, you develop and implement logistics tactics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of materials while maintaining product quality and safety. You collaborate with internal teams, external suppliers, and transportation partners to perform and optimize supply chain processes and minimize lead times.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Contribute to establish new logistic strategies, supporting the operational perspective and feasibility

  • Supports operational activities related to validation new routes, new packaging or news suppliers implementation

  • Continuously improve existing logistic operations adapting and improving tactics 

  • Within the agreed logistic strategies, flows and processes, responsible for delivering logistic operations related to CMO management

  • With all logistic partners and operations, in charge of resolving the logistic issues to make sure products are delivered in due time and expected quality

  • Collaborate with manufacturing support for all quality activities related to logistics: CC, deviations and documentation

  • Oversee inventory management and storage of vaccines related materials, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions to maintain product efficacy

  • Responsible for creating right inventory visibility, escalating risk and managing issues as they rise

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance logistics operations

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and cold chain management guidelines

  • Oversee inventory management and storage of vaccines related materials, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions to maintain product efficacy

  • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance logistics operations

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not mandatory

  • Proven experience in logistics management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with a focus on cold chain logistics

  • Strong understanding of quality and regulatory requirements related to vaccine related materials distribution and storage

  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems for tracking and managing shipments

  • Fluent in English both oral and written

  • Knowledge of ERP/Supply Chain and the ability to utilize this in a complex GMP planning environment

  • Project Management experience desirable

  • The ability to lead, motivate, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment
