Job Description

The Senior Biotechnologist I role is responsible for managing and performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods. This includes general production manufacturing work, assembling finished components, and process manufacturing batches of bulk materials. The role ensures the efficient and effective production of high-quality products, contributing to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world.

How you will contribute:
* Manage and perform general production manufacturing work
* Assemble finished components or parts into finished products
* Process manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical and chemical processing
* Set up and operate machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies
* Perform surface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items
* Package materials or finished goods into containers for protection, display, and handling
* Collaborate within and outside the department, providing minimal guidance on routine tasks

* Oversees and advises on equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
* Applies lean manufacturing principles independently in complex situations, capable of coaching others
* Implements Environmental Health and Safety standards, recognized as a subject matter expert
