Job Description

Scope of Internship:

The manufacturing site located in Woodlands, is one of the key biologicsmanufacturing sitesin Takeda’s Global Manufacturing and Supply (GMS) network. The Site is dedicated to improving our ability to serve patients and deliver the GMS Value Proposition through a commitment to excellence, focused on: Agile, Connected, Performance, Innovation and People.

In this role, the Reliability EngineeringIntern will partner with various key stakeholders in the Takeda organization to perform Reliability Engineering responsibilities.

We are looking for students who are currently enrolled at a local educational institution and the internship is recognized as part of the school's official curriculum. Successful applicants must commit to a 20/24 weeks internship during the period from Jul - Dec 2024

The key responsibilities of the Reliability Intern include:

  • Participate in reliabilityMeetings and prepare for the periodical engineering document update progress.

  • Participate in monthly reliability review slides and update progress

  • Participate in Engineering documents update such as P&ID, SOP and Checklist update. 

  • Tracking Corrective Action and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), Compliance Obligations and other tasksto closurein the information System 

  • Perform trend analysis for incidents, inspections and audits

  • Support Engineering audits and workshops including preparation and logistics arrangements

  • Support Maintenance and ReliabilityDepartment in ensuring all Maintenance and Reliability requirements and KPI are met

  • Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor to ensure Continuous Improvement in the Site’sEngineering activity 

Requirements:

  • Keen interest to work in a biopharmaceutical industry

  • Knowledge and proficient on  using Microsoft 365 office applications( MS word, MS excel)

  • Detail-oriented and proactive towards job responsibilities

  • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and analytical skills

  • Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders

  • Good team player

  • Independent with good initiatives and learning attitude
