Job Description
The Buyer, Analyst II is responsible for managing and optimizing various aspects of the supply chain process. This role involves planning, inventory management, and improving logistics operations to support business goals. The position contributes to Takeda's mission by ensuring efficient and effective supply chain operations.
How you will contribute:
* Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
* Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
* Apply basic principles of inventory management in routine situations
* Develop experience with data analysis tools to improve supply chain processes
* Negotiate with suppliers on contract terms in straightforward scenarios
* Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations

* Utilizes supply chain optimization techniques in familiar contexts to enhance efficiency
* Handles contract management tasks for procurement of goods and services, following standard procedures
* Solves common problems in supply chain processes by following established guidelines

* Provides customer service by addressing client concerns in line with company policies
* Works collaboratively within teams to achieve business goals
* Engages in strategic planning to anticipate supply chain challenges
* Analyzes market trends to advise on potential impacts to service levels
As an early-career professional, you handle problems of limited scope and complexity, adhering to established policies and procedures. Your decision-making is within a defined scope, using standardized methods to analyze situations and data. You are developing knowledge of basic principles, theories, and concepts, and beginning to apply industry practices and standards. Typically, this role requires some relevant experience, with contributions mostly related to task-specific activities. Your primary contacts are with your immediate team, and you work under moderate direction and close supervision, following specific, detailed instructions.
