Job Description

Internship Overview:

Our Internship Program offers an opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to projects that impact our business and community.

Available Internship Positions:

1.      Business Excellence Intern

  • Learn and apply operation excellence tools in continuous improvements project(s) through working functions like Manufacturing and Quality Control Lab to drive compliance.

  • Work with manufacturing and quality control labs to new create on-the job training materials and quiz in the DMS and LMS

  • Assists in site project governance.

2.     Human Resources Intern

  • Responsible to coordinate onsite Learning and Training activities (includes logistics arrangement, planning and scheduling, management of global to local materials)

  • Support administration of documents and training claims preparation for audit (internal and external)

  • Provide other operational support and administration as assigned by supervisor

3.    Communication Intern

  • Manages site wide weekly cascade packs (develop, edit, refine, format to Takeda template) and publish on Sharepoint

  • Utilizes photographic equipment and photo-enhancing/video-editing software

  • Assists in site communications events

4.     Engineering Services Intern

  • Participates in commissioning and qualification activities related to Computer System Validation, Equipment Qualification, Temperature Controlled Objects (Freezers, Incubator etc), Clean Utilities Validation, cleaning validation, SIP validation and shipping validation in accordance with Takeda’s internal procedures and industry standards.

  • Participates in the creation of equipment lifecycle documentations, e.g. FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ protocols and reports, risk assessments, technical specifications.

  • Participates in investigation revolving around

5.     Environment, Health and Safety Intern

  • Participate in monthly EHS Inspections of the Site and prepare the inspection schedule

  • Participate in EHS Incident Investigations to identify the root cause

  • Tracking Corrective Action and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), Compliance Obligations and other tasks to closure in the EHS information System

6.    Data, Digital and Technology Intern

  • Support site digital transformation programs and projects.

  • Support and develop site paperless projects on forms/logbook/OJT etc.

  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate successful collaborations

7.    Supply Chain Intern

  • Support supply planning day to day activities with resources and tools provided.

  • Gain a deeper understanding of ERP functionalities relevant to supply planning operations, including inventory management, order processing, and work order management.

  • Support improvement projects as part of Supply Chain initiatives.

Preferred Job Requirements or Experience

  • Keen interest to work in a biopharmaceutical industry

  • Basic understanding in operational excellence tools

  • Experience in Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented and proactive towards job responsibilities

  • Good interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage various stakeholders
