About the role:
The Director General Product Marketing & Management is responsible for advancing business growth by promoting the organization's products and services. This role involves developing and implementing advertising campaigns, conducting market research, and managing product planning and development. By aligning marketing efforts with business goals, this role supports Takeda's mission to deliver Better Health and a Brighter Future.

How you will contribute:
* Develop and implement advertising and promotional campaigns
* Conduct market research to identify and predict consumer trends
* Manage product planning and development, including P&L activity and ROI analysis
* Create and distribute promotional materials
* Lead and manage a department or small unit, including multiple teams led by Managers and Team Leaders
* Provide strategic direction and oversight to managers across various functional areas
* Communicate and influence executive leadership to ensure successful execution of major initiatives

Skills and qualifications:
* Applies strategic planning techniques to align marketing efforts with business goals.
* Manages brands effectively, overseeing all aspects from market analysis to competitive positioning.
* Conducts thorough market analysis, identifying key opportunities for growth.
* Designs and implements impactful promotional campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
* Integrates customer experience data into marketing strategies to enhance engagement.
* Leads teams with a focus on fostering collaboration and achieving business objectives.
* Manages budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.

As a leader of a sizable (functional) area, serving as the primary internal and external contact for contracts and operations. Your responsibilities include conducting high-level briefings and technical meetings, interacting with managers of equivalent status, and crafting corporate and organizational policies. You will provide strategic direction and oversight to managers across various functional areas, prioritizing the successful execution of major initiatives and ensuring that budgets, schedules, and performance standards are both realistically established and achieved. Your role focuses on strategic impact rather than day-to-day operational involvement.
