THE OPPORTUNITY

The position of PDT DDT Systems Specialist is a vital role within Takeda’s Plasma-Derived Therapies Function. This role is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users within the PDT/BioLife organization. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues and providing technical advice on technology-related support matters. The PDT DD&T Systems Specialist will also be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software, as well as other technology-related tasks.

YOUR TASKS IN DETAIL

  • Provide technical support and assistance to users within the PDT/BioLife organization via telephone, email, travel to remote sites, and other channels.
  • Troubleshoot PDT/BioLife hardware and software issues, as well as network problems within the PDT/BioLife plasma centers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain PDT/BioLife specific computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Manage and leverage technical support for PDT/BioLife Operations systems such as PCMS, BPMS, Amadeus, Mosquito, LIMS, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support opening of new PDT/BioLife plasma centers and integration of acquired plasma centers.
  • As a contributor of the escalation process, take ownership of major incidents to ensure coordination with resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders, and post incident review in cooperation with global procedures and processes (Major Incident Management – MIM).
  • Coordinate Hardware Refresh initiatives with global DD&T team(s) and external parties to ensure minimal impact to PDT/BioLife operations.
  • Develop, document, and implement technology processes, policies, and procedures for the PDT/BioLife organization.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to the PDT/BioLife organization.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all data, digital, and technology activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in extensive desktop technology support role
  • IT Service Management (Incident, Change, Problem, etc.) experience and/or ITIL certification
  • Solid experience with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.), as well as networking and virtualization technologies
  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical industry business
  • Proficient in English and Czech
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact effectively with multifunctional teams
  • Strong Business Relationship and Stakeholder Management skills

Desirable:

  • Certification in Microsoft Server Administration and/or Desktop Support
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCSA, MCSE certifications
