ABOUT THE ROLE:
Objectives
Support Quality team to promote and drive strategic thinking and innovative approaches to change the business. This includes the sponsorship / lead / coordination of various change/transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the development of Quality Strategies to ensure a harmonized and integrated quality approach that will provide oversight and governance to enable Site Quality to successfully change the business. Help achieve the Quality vision based on Science, Systems and People.
Partner with Finance and Business Excellence team to ensure optimal allocation of resources to support Quality initiatives and priorities.
Promote a Quality Culture through collaboration and partnerships, innovation, continuous improvement, and a learning environment that includes knowledge and best-practices sharing
WHAT YOU BRING TO TAKEDA:
Competences requested and skills
Support Quality strategy deployment and must-win alignment in collaboration with the Business Excellence Team.
Monitor site/function quality projects and ensure alignment to GQLT/PQLT strategy; act as a gate-keeper if needed
Monitor the cost adherence to the budget (OPEX, CAPEX) for the site Quality Organisation (MRP, MYC, LBE) and promote Cost Efficiency initiatives
Define deployment strategies of transformational and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. eAgile, Lab transformation, DD&T,etc.) Lead strategic Quality projects, initiatives, process improvements and best practice sharing across the Site/OpU Quality Organization
Actively contribute to enhance the digital maturity of the Quality Organisation, enabling it to leverage digital technologies to improve processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and drive overall business success.
Stay abreast of trends, emerging regulations, and best practices in quality management, change management, and business transformation.
Support change to help the organization navigate through the complexities of transformation, minimize disruptions, and maximize the chances of successful implementation and sustainable change.
Promote the continuous improvement activities in Quality department implementing strategic thinking and innovative approaches to change the business, maintaining highest levels of Compliance.
Promote digitalization and use of innovative IT Technologies like Machine Learning, RPA, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Advanced Data Analytics in Quality.
Cooperate with other site functions (Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS) in continuous improvement initiatives.
Support Quality Control laboratory to assess technology gaps and partner with leaders to assure technology is in place where appropriate. Actively benchmark with internal and external partners to drive efficiency across the network
Support the implementation of the Quality Culture in all the different site departments and areas.
Drive involvement of science-based thinking to ensure application of new technology and continuous improvement (e.g. Operational Excellence / Lab Transformation).
Education & Expertise requested
Masters’ or Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant for the job (Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry or related Engineering/Technical field).
Minimum 5 years of experience in fields of Pharmaceutical Industry or analogue Business Areas
3 years of leadership experience in managing projects or providing leadership coordination of activities.
Experience with IT systems and their application in a Quality organization. Ability to deal with IT department in terms of main software knowledge
Knowledge of new emerging technologies (e.g. Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Big Data analytics), gained during education path or with on the floor experience
6 sigma aspects knowledge and application (green belt certification is preferred) and lean manufacturing
Analytical and critical Thinking Skills – utilizes observation, interpretation, analysis, inference, evaluation, explanation in decision making
Strong communication skills - Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and in writing and in an actionable form
Fluent English (written and verbal)
Knowledge of main international regulations (e.g. FDA, EMEA), GcP, GMP and GDP guidelines, ICH, ISO, PIC/S and other relevant current industry standards
