About the role:

Join us as our new HR Business Partner, and contribute to a dynamic, agile, and matrix-based HR organization.

How you will contribute :

Reporting to the HR Site Lead, you will:

  • Deliver on specialized HR support to leaders around employee relations, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, employee engagement, time management and compliance with local labor law.

  • Partner with leaders to determine key people priorities and deliver solutions to ensure the organization capability, structure and culture are in place to drive the achievement of business goals.

  • Provide expert and well-reasoned HR advice and ensure that all people activities are managed in line with Takeda Culture and Values, policy and local regulations and standards.

  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition Team to enable recruitment of talents aligned with site capabilities needs, ensure timely hiring against vacancies as well as pay equity.

  • Coach and advise leaders on all aspects of people management, including employee relations, change management and people development in line with Takeda philosophy and policy.

  • Help leaders drive talents reviews and build robust succession planning for key positions.

  • Help leaders look around corners with data-driven recommendations that improve performance, retention and overall employee experience.

  • Enable the implementation of rewards and benefits strategies aligned with the organization expectations working closely with our Compensation and Benefits team.

  • Foster diversity and inclusion and contribute to rolling out global initiatives at site level

  • Be accountable for HR compliance in line with labor and employment regulations and to manage business risk arising from employment liability, work closely with the Swiss SECO and local authorities for the issue of relevant permits. 

  • Participate or lead HR projects aligned, among others, with our objectives of digitalization and simplification. 

  • Collaborate with regional CoE’s and relevant Global / BU HR colleagues to design and deliver best practice HR solutions in line with global standards.

  • Collaborate with HR Services to ensure effective delivery of HR operations.

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor’s degree minimum. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience within HR.

  • Previous experience as HRBP in an industrial environment.

  • Industry and HR Knowledge – understands the pharmaceutical industry and business. Curious and up to date on current and possible future trends related to a broad spectrum of HR practices.

  • Previous experience in managing difficult situations and leading complex investigations with diplomacy and discretion modeling ethical behavior and taking necessary disciplinary actions as needed. 

  • Strong knowledge of Swiss Labor Law and implementation with pragmatism in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in Time management systems (good understanding of employees scheduling linked to manufacturing requirements and tracking through HRIS tool)s.

  • Strong proficiency with business scorecards and metrics (PowerBI) and motivated to embark in Takeda’s journey around digitalization.

  • Ability to focus on the few priorities that matter most. Track record of implementing programs that reduce complexity and measurably improve business performance.

  • Good Analytical Skills (ability to identify the root cause of problems/opportunities and determine possible solutions).
