Join us as Head of EHS for the Neuchatel site. Reporting to the Head of Site, you will be responsible for all applicable environmental, safety and industrial hygiene support programs and policies. Managing a team of 4 direct reports, you will provide proactive direction to improve both the EHS level on the site including external companies or contractors working on site, and compliance with all Federal, State and Local environmental while making sure to be up to date with safety regulations. Therefore you will be primary liaison with external regulatory agencies and main contact for the global EHS counterparts.

Safety Culture: Foster a strong safety culture with shared responsibility and best practices.
Leadership: Develop a creative EHS team, promoting growth and accountability.
Policy Implementation: Create and adapt comprehensive EHS policies, responding to technological and legislative changes.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
Incident Management: Lead investigations, reporting and corrective actions promptly.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal/external partners and regulatory bodies, enhancing EHS awareness.
Performance Measurement: Monitor KPIs and report EHS performance to leadership.
What you will bring to Takeda:
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in EHS roles, with at least five years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of pharmaceutical and regulated environment requirements
Sound Knowledge of a EHS norms and policies
Experience developing successful EHS programs and strategies.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to engage, and inspire direct and indirect reports and peers.
Strategic vision coupled with a hands-on approach.
High engagement, driving a culture of accountability and performance - Lead by example.
French and English speaking and writing
