Job Description

About the Role:

The Commercial Business Operations & Excellence Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting Takeda’s sales force by managing and delivering various support services. This role ensures efficient sales operations and customer satisfaction, contributing to Takeda's mission of bringing better health to people and a brighter future to the world.

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Distribution teams to ensure accurate demand forecasts and timely delivery of Vaccines in the correct SKUs.
  • Maintain forecast analogs, background assumption documents, and long-range forecasts in line with Takeda’s policies.
  • Handle all financial submissions to the finance department and manage cross-functional submissions for vaccines.
  • Work closely with the sales organization and distributors to track secondary sales and ensure smooth monthly closings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Long Range Forecast: Develop and maintain long-range forecasts for Vaccines, ensuring alignment with Takeda’s policies and strategic objectives.
  • MRP Forecast: Manage detailed MRP forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels and supply readiness.
  • Daily Sales Monitoring: Track daily sales trends and adjust forecasts accordingly.
  • Channel Planning: Strategize and plan distribution channels to maximize reach and efficiency.
  • Demand and Allocation Management: Ensure demand forecasting and allocation meet market needs and manage stock allocation across regions.
  • Liaison with Supply Chain and Distribution Teams: Work closely with these teams to provide accurate demand forecasts and ensure timely delivery of QDENGA in the right SKUs.
  • Forecast Analogs and Assumptions: Maintain records of analogs and background assumption documents.
  • Financial Submissions: Prepare and submit all relevant financial reports to the finance department, ensuring cross-functional submissions for vaccines are accurate.
  • Secondary Sales Tracking: Collaborate with sales and distributors to monitor secondary sales and ensure efficient monthly closings.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in forecasting software and ERP/MRP systems.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.

Education, Behavioral Competencies, and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vaccines demand forecasting, supply chain management, or related operations (preferably in the pharmaceutical industry).
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing the sale and marketing of vaccines.
  • Willingness to travel across India as required for the role.
