We are looking for a Marketing Manager for our Gastroenterology (GI) team in the UK who will lead one of the indications for our largest brand in the UK and globally. This role is based in our Paddington, London office.

As our new Marketing Manager, you will assume full marketing responsibility within our GI business unit. In close collaboration with the Head of Marketing and the cross-functional Brand Team, you will take a lead role in driving the marketing plan and patient access to our therapy in Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s Disease through omni-channel campaigns.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Supporting development of the UK brand plan for our largest GI brand, including the tactical plan and impact measurement.

  • Collaborating with the cross functional teams including colleagues from Sales, Market Access, Medical, Sales, I&A, NGCE, L&D and External Affairs to ensure continuous alignment and joined up plans.

  • Developing and implementing marketing materials for omnichannel use in close collaboration with the NGCE and campaign operations team.

  • Conducting market research in conjunction with Insights & Analytics Manager to provide necessary information when formulating and executing plans.

  • Briefing and managing agencies to ensure integrated marketing communications strategy is reflected in all activities and that communication goals are met.

  • Managing promotional budgets to remain within agreed budget levels.

  • Managing the risk profile of our materials in relation to the ABPI Code of Practice and Takeda SOPs, including ensuring appropriate internal controls are in place.

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

  • 3-5 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry as a brand manager, product manager or similar.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to lead a collaborative approach across a variety of functions and stakeholders.

  • Strategic planning demonstrated through experience in branded pharmaceutical marketing.

  • Understanding of commercial aspects of the business including brand lifecycle management, sales planning and execution, market access

  • Demonstrable ability to utilize a mix of channels to communicate key messages effectively and consistently with customers to drive behavior change to the benefit of patients.

  • Analytical and able to draw insights from data, outcomes-focused with a proven ability to set and achieve measurable tactical outcomes.
