Location and Work Environment: Our UK Head Offices are in the vibrant heart of London, Paddington, surrounded by a plethora of amenities. Embracing a hybrid work model, we encourage a balance of office and remote work, with approximately 40% (8 days per month) spent in our office.

Programme Overview: Our Graduate Leadership Development Programme is a comprehensive 3-year journey, featuring four 9-month rotations across Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and another critical business function or project which you can shape for yourselves. It’s fast-paced and challenging; you’ll be given responsibility from the outset and lead important projects for the organisation. You will have opportunities to engage with external stakeholders, from customer-facing roles to collaborating with patient groups and influencing public policymakers.
Throughout the programme, you will be mentored by a member of Takeda UK’s Senior Leadership Team, ensuring you receive guidance and support from experienced professionals.
Professional Development: In addition to your rotations, you will participate in a robust training programme designed to develop essential professional skills applicable across the business and any future role. Topics include effective communication, project and budget management, coaching, and leadership development. These experiences will equip you with a well-rounded understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and enhance your technical and leadership capabilities.
Who We Are Looking For:
- Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Science Degrees: Including medicine or pharmacy, with an undergraduate degree of 2:1 or higher. Final-year students and post-graduate degree holders (Masters, or PhD) are welcome to apply.
- Motivation and Drive: High levels of enthusiasm and commitment.
- Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilities.
