Job Description
About the role:
The Supply Chain Operations, Manager is responsible for the planning and on-time execution of product commercialization plans, post-commercialization supply chain management, communication of product/supply chain status and issues to ensure timely decision-making by Senior Management. You will participate in the development and execution of the pre-commercialization strategy and has primary responsibility for the planning and execution of the post-commercialization strategy, which involves coordination, development and implementation of forecast, marketing and product strategies. You will function as the principle liaison between Takeda and its domestic/international, third-party contractors, drug product and raw material suppliers for commercialized products, government agencies for controlled substance quotas and monitors third-party performance through metrics and goals. You will report to the Head of Supply Planning and be responsible for providing leadership for strategic and tactical supply chain initiatives.
How you will contribute:
- Lead multiple teams of executives, directors/senior managers, and managers
- Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies in alignment with global objectives
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee procurement processes
- Optimize logistics and supply chain management to improve efficiency
- Ensure effective inventory control and materials planning
- Mentor and train junior staff in supply chain best practices
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in health science, packaging, engineering, business or logistics management preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of planning and operations experience or combination thereof
- Proficient in presentation tools and techniques
- Proficient in application of materials management and packaging tools and techniques
- Working knowledge of SAP/IBP planning tools or ability to quickly become proficient with using these tools

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
