Job Title: Project Management Lead
Location: Lessines, Belgium

About the role:

Join Takeda as a Project Management Lead, where you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects at our Lessines site. Your role will involve managing process improvements, equipment installations, , and facility expansions, ensuring projects are completed on time, in compliance with quality and safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

How you will contribute:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects such as process optimizations, facility upgrades, and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedules, and risk management.
  • Ensure projects meet timelines and quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary contact for project communications, providing updates and facilitating meetings.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate resources and mentor project teams for effective project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and advocate for best practices in project management

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Manage stakeholders at various levels
  • Influence stakeholders and effectively communicate key points
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
  • Fluency in English
