OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:
Manages the DD&T project/program aligned with site DD&T members, Global DD&T members and deliver the DD&T services in timely and quality manner to business.
Successfully deliver the strategic program/project aligned with the local and global business requirements in accordance to Global standard and process.
Strengthen the program/project management capabilities of Japan
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
This position is responsible for managing the Osaka new plasma facility program in Manufacturing / lab area in terms of data, digital and technology point of view.
(e.g. MES / LIMS / SAP implementation, infrastrucure&cyber security, digital twin and other state of art technologies )
Report the project KPI (Status, budget/cost, scope, schedule) of in-flights projects to key stakeholders.
Support the program/projects initiation in timely and quality manner with key stakeholders (e.g. Business, Business expert team and infrastructure)
Coordinate preparation of statements of work and specifications, estimation of product / service costs and pricing, and negotiation and administration of contracts.
Deliver the projects and programs by staffing the project managers including external vendors.
Plan and share with the team members to develop the project/program management experiecnce and capability.
DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS:
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise
At least 10 years experiences in project management
Experience more than 10 people of different nationalities in data, digital and technology (IT) project
Be able to manage portfolio, including resource, budget management, and delivery to timelines; all including associated monitoring and controlling.
Ability verbal and written communication skills (both English and Japanese language)
Preferred:
Experience with Manufacturing application management including GxP.
Experience with Agile project
Leadership
Provide thought leadership on mangament projects.
Strong leadership skills, facilitating escalated issues to resolution
Works independently to achieve project goal.
Oversee day-to-day team operation and performance
Experience to solve complex business problems and present recommendations to senior management effectively
Strong communicator to ensure alignment with business users, vendors and related teams
Decision-making and Autonomy
Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Leverage independent Judgment to determine optimal methods of task completion and work prioritization.
Authority to delegate Tasks and Responsibilities to manage soliution vendors

Internal Partners:
Within the project management team – working with peers to deliver projects in the same and across regions in a seamless fashion.
Other Internal DD&T-Teams:
External Partners: there are a number of external Partners providing Solutions to Takeda. This role will be responsible to work with them for succesful project delivery and transition

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
At least 10 years experiences in project management
Experience more than 10 people of different nationalities in data, digital and technology (IT) project
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience required
Be able to manage portfolio, including resource leveling, budget management, and delivery to timelines; all including associated monitoring and controlling.
Ability verbal and written communication skills (both English and Japanese language)
Work with virtual teams located in different countries around the world, aligning and adapting different work, culture and communication styles.
Team player with some experience leading and collaborating cross- functionally to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Financial Management for IT Services skills
Preferred:
Experience with Manufacturing application management including GxP.
Experience with Agile project
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
Travel Requirements – Ability to travel up to10% to the factories (Narita, Yamaguchi).

Salary Increase: Annually, Bonus Payment: Twice a year
Working Hours: Headquarters (Osaka/ Tokyo) 9:00-17:30, Production Sites (Osaka/ Yamaguchi) 8:00-16:45, (Narita) 8:30-17:15, Research Site (Kanagawa) 9:00-17:45
Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, May Day, Year-End Holidays etc. (approx. 123 days in a year)
