OBJECTIVES:
- Development Finance is expanding to focus on strong business partnering and this role would require frequent collaboration with our Leadership
- Independently manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities
- Serve as active member of functional management, provides strategic thinking and consultation to support decision making. Identifies and implements continual process improvements in financial processes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operates as a strong finance business partner for Development Functions
- Support strategic initiatives like DD&T (Data, Digital and Technology) efficiencies tracking across R&D.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly closes, including review of monthly accruals, prepaids and preparation of journal entries
- Set-up a strong financial planning (MRP/MYC) and reporting process via use of Financial Systems and tools which delivers value to stakeholders, keep them up to date on their financial performance.
- Accountable for Consolidating budgets, managing operational spending, financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Design, Prepare and distribute monthly reporting packages summarizing functional performance and areas for focus
- Work closely with TAU finance teams to provide transparency on Cross TA spend
- Active member of functional /project team(s) supporting decision making driving shareholder value
- Performs ad hoc reporting and analysis as requested.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree
- At least 3-5 years of overall business experience, and/or
- Strong variance analysis, cost management and valuation experience
- Pharmaceutical-Biotech industry experience
- Experience consulting with senior level stakeholders/clients;
- Advanced data visualization and presentation experience
Skills:
- Analytical – Ability to analyze monthly financial results, prepare presentations for senior executives
- Teamwork – ability to work effectively in and foster a team environment.
- Communication – Excellent oral, written, and presentation communications skills needed
- Management - Ability to set priorities and meet specific deadlines in a changing environment, ability to be flexible, accommodating, and to deal with change effectively.
- Relationship Skill: Ability to gain trust of high-level management and leverage relationships
- Entrepreneurial: Ability and desire to take ownership of activities and projects, desire to shape the organization, consistent “out of the box” thinking
- Leadership: Ability to set priorities; develop workflow processes, and direct a team of colleagues with no official reporting relationship

USA - MA - CambridgeU.S. Base Salary Range:
$108,500.00 - $170,500.00The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
