THE OPPORTUNTY
As a Digital Training Senior Manager, you will take on a key leadership role in shaping and driving a modern, scalable learning ecosystem that aligns with Takeda’s strategic and compliance priorities.
Leveraging platforms such as Veeva, SuccessFactors, and EdCast (Bloom), along with cutting-edge instructional design and delivery methodologies, you will lead the development of impactful, compliant, and engaging training solutions that empower employees across the global organization.
A central focus of this role is designing and executing a robust train-the-trainer model to scale learning delivery efficiently, while ensuring high standards of quality and consistency. You will be responsible for continuously evaluating and optimizing training programs, ensuring they support oper tional excellence, meet GxP and compliance requirements, and enable Takeda’s evolving business needs.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Learning Development:
- Drive the design and execution of learning programs aligned with Takeda’s business goals and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DD&T, HR, and Business Teams) to identify training needs and develop strategies to meet evolving workforce challenges.
- Lead the design of scalable, user-focused learning pathways using platforms such as Veeva, SuccessFactors, and EdCast (Bloom).
Learning Innovation and Delivery:
- Design and deliver engaging, multimedia-rich training content using tools like Adobe Captivate and Camtasia Studio.
- Enrich training programs with modern methodologies and best practices, focusing on hybrid and virtual delivery formats.
- Integrate secondary tools such as Pluralsight and Udemy into the learning ecosystem to complement internal training capabilities.
Train-the-Trainer Program:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive train-the-trainer framework to scale learning initiatives globally.
- Provide internal trainers with structured resources, including facilitator guides, toolkits, and coaching, to empower them to deliver consistent and impactful training.
- Evaluate trainer effectiveness and collect feedback to refine training content and delivery quality.
Compliance and Operational Excellence:
- Ensure all training programs align with GxP compliance standards and regulatory requirements within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Partner with Subject Matter Experts to address compliance training related to key initiatives such as SAP implementation and Demand Optimization.
- Assess and address risks in learning delivery to maintain operational excellence.
Learning Ecosystem Optimization:
- Evaluate and improve Takeda’s learning ecosystem continuously, leveraging Veeva, SuccessFactors, and EdCast (Bloom) to maximize engagement and efficiency.
- Analyze data, feedback, and outcomes to measure training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to streamline learning delivery processes and enhance learner engagement across global audiences.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Experience:
- Minimum 9 years of experience in learning design, training development, and scalable delivery in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering GxP-compliant learning programs.
- Experience leading large-scale training projects, including those involving SAP implementation and/or Demand Optimization.
- Leads complex instructional design projects, applying advanced principles and coaching others.
Skills and Expertise:
- Deep expertise in using platforms such as Veeva, SuccessFactors, and EdCast (Bloom) for curriculum development, tracking, and learner engagement.
- Proficiency in multimedia content creation using tools like Adobe Captivate and Camtasia Studio.
- Familiarity with external learning solutions like Pluralsight and Udemy is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, or Smartsheet.
- Practical application of adult learning methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning Design).
- Advanced skills in designing and implementing train-the-trainer programs for large-scale deployments.
- Advanced skills in project management in leading learning projects
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional collaboration and stakeholder management skills to align programs with cross-functional priorities.
- Strong analytical abilities to evaluate program effectiveness and implement data-driven improvements.
- Advanced communication skills to engage with diverse teams and present learning strategies effectively.
- High attention to detail, ensuring all training materials meet quality, compliance, and regulatory standards.
- Skilled in creating persuasive presentations and mentoring others in presentation skills.
- Manages time effectively in complex situations and mentors others in time management.
- Maintains high attention to detail in complex tasks and advises others on precision.
- Leads e-learning development projects with strategic insights.

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 4466 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
