The Opportunity
As Data Engineer you will develop, maintain and integrate processes which extract data from standardized or varied data sources; transform data for storing in proper formats and structures for querying and analysis; load data into target data structures in the Enterprise Data Backbone. You will participates on a project / product team working closely with business analysts and other team members to ensure that the end to end designs meet the business and data requirements; responsible for unit testing, implementation of solution, and providing KT to the run organization for maintenance and support of existing solutions. You will work with the Enterprise teams / COEs and understand the standards that needs to be adopted, the patterns that need to be used to develop the ETL routines and share it with the Junior Data Engineers
Job Description
- Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to ETL principles and business goals
- Define data requirements, transforms data for storing in proper formats and structures for querying and analysis; loads data into target data structures in the Enterprise Data Backbone
- Support Data Vizualization Team in data sourcing and preparation to visualize data and synthesize insights of commercial value
- Lead the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of emerging tools and processes for analytic data engineering to improve productivity
- Partner with business analysts and solutions architects to develop technical architectures for strategic enterprise projects and initiatives
- Implement data quality procedures on new data sources by applying rigorous iterative data analytics
- Advise, consult, mentor, and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices
Skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience or relevant Data/DWH/BI project
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, executing complex queries and managing databases effectively
- Proficient in Relational Databases, or NoSQL data stores (Postgres, Oracle, Redshift, Cassandra, MongoDB, Neo4J, …)
- Proficient in ELT/ETL (Databricks + Informatica or Python), experience with ETL tool is advantage
- Experience in Data Lake or Data Warehouse, Datamart environments
- Proficient in DevOps practices and continuous integration, enhancing operational efficiencies and deployment strategies. Experience with Github
- Demonstrates expertise in software development methodologies and data structures, optimizing algorithms for complex data operations.
- Skilled in distributed data technologies like Spark and Hadoop, improving large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, and C++, tailored for scalable data engineering solutions.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of transforming data into actionable insights that drive decision making.
- Leadership capabilities, able to guide and inspire junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Ability to work in an agile and rapid changing environment with high quality deliverables.
- Experience in Cloud environments, especially AWS is advantage

Salary
As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is € 3050 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
