About the role:

Join us as a Senior Administrative Assistant - Oncology in our Cambridge office. You will support a member of the oncology development leadership team and their respective function. You will work in partnership with a dynamic and collaborative team of administrative professionals.
How you will contribute:
Efficiently manages time and activities for leaders, including scheduling, expense management, and travel arrangements.
Understands and educates team members on company policies, clearly communicating business requirements and leveraging a wide network to execute responsibilities adeptly.
Communicates effectively, ensuring clear, concise, and timely information exchange across all levels of the organization. Engages in active listening, providing constructive feedback, and adapting communication styles to suit different audiences.
Drives process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, analyzing root causes, and implementing constructive solutions.
Expertly navigates and utilizes various systems for document review, storage, and collaboration. Guides colleagues through enterprise platforms, ensuring efficient and effective use. Continuously seeks innovative ways to leverageTakeda systems and tools to meet the evolving needs of projects and teams.
Collaborates effectively within a team environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to collective success.
Skilled in creative projects, such as designing newsletters or planning team-building activities.
Maintains confidentiality in all responsibilities.
Performs additional operational and project-related duties as required, ensuring the smooth execution of tasks and contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Strong PC literacy with strong skills in Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Scientific background or knowledge of drug development preferred
Hybrid working arrangements require some on-site Takeda campus support (~2-3 days per week) or as needed for role.

Boston, MAU.S. Hourly Wage Range:
$26.92 - $42.31The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
