You will establish novel bioinformatics and machine learning workflows to analyze next-generation sequencing data to advance antibody sequences from in vitro (yeast and phage), in vivo (single/bulk B cells) or de novo (AI based) platforms with the goal to deeply interrogate repertoires, expand functional and sequence diversity and accelerate lead discovery using in silico tools. As part of the Next Generation Sequencing team, you will report to the Associate Director and investigate use of computational tools in other areas in Global Biologics to accelerate workflows and to enhance pipeline support and accelerate programs to IND.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop pipelines to utilize large-scale bulk or single B cell sequencing data, generate library QC, annotate the reads and reports prioritize antibody sequences.
  • Improve antibody screening and in silico analysis workflows by implementing standard automated protocols for the curation, annotation and interpretation of large datasets.
  • Work independently to establish NGS data analysis and library QC workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sequencing data with other data generated from antibody discovery engine.
  • Establish workflows to analyze NGS datasets in other areas in Global Biologics including cell line generation, plasmid preparation and CAR-T design characterization.
  • Continuously learn to develop better and novel methods for in-silico affinity maturation and antibody discovery based on the NGS datasets.
  • Use AWS and HCP infrastructure for additional compute needs.
  • Use Docker and Github for reproducibility of workflow and version control, respectively.
  • Develop UI to seamlessly integrate flow of sequencing data from various discovery platform and relevant information Based on the data, recommend changes in the library generation processes.
