JOB LOCATION: Cambridge, MA

POSITION: Data Science Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Takeda Manufacturing U.S.A., Inc. is seeking a Data Science Engineer with the following duties: Develop tools to optimize analysis such as (SWOT) of publicly available business intelligence (10-Ks, and journals) to identify business trends and opportunities in commercial manufacturing; Communicate results in a routine basis; Collaborate with other GMS functions such as Strategy and Business Excellence on developing software tools to optimize and automate LCM activities; Expand current knowledge management capabilities; Analyze unstructured problems, identify root causes and align team objectives to drive divisional goals; Use agile principles to reduce process complexity and increase organizational capacity; Develop and apply custom strategies for processing and visualizing multidimensional data; Capture and translate business requirements into technical solutions. Up to 60% remote work allowed.

REQUIREMENTS: Master degree in Data Science, Information Systems, or related field plus 2 years of related experience. Prior experience must include: Extract data automatically using Python / R to support data analysis and reporting; Work with ERP systems like SAP for data management and analysis; Develop data visualizations with Power BI to enable business intelligence and decision-making; Write and execute Python / R scripts for automating data processing tasks; Implement data processing workflows in Databricks to manage and scale data projects.

Full time. $108,500 - $186,000 per year. Competitive compensation and benefits.
